Winning IR Photography of 2024

Always loved IR, with how much sun there is around here I've been wanting to give it a go myself.

Some of those photos look very uncanny, good work to the photographers

Very interesting. Do infrared filters work on digital cameras? Has anybody have any experience with filters?
Hi Gary. Yes I have used IR with digital, with my Sony and my early Olympus C2000Z, the latter being much easier to use having a weaker red filter on the sensor. I have posted some articles on 35mmc if you are interested. These are a couple of images from the two cameras.

The usual test with a TV remote will show how sensitive a given camera is to IR if you plane to try it. You should see the remote light up through the camera.

That second place snow landscape is very impressive! If anyone on here doesn’t know, Sigmas earlier Foveon dslrs make excellent IR digital without modification- I bought one partly for that reason as IR photography piqued my curiosity.

And with a suitable filter, the Nikon D2H captures IR with no modifications.
