nice detail shot, it's not what I expected from the thread title though I was expecting a tin can. I would have expected a little more shadows in the troughs as it was taken in the evening.

I wonder what a section of it would look like without the white in it, not that it detracts just a thought that crossed my mind.

I will probably revisit it and maybe re-shoot using a longer lens. I chose this areas as I happened to have the zoom on in LR when I was working through the images doing the output sharpening. You can see a much larger section of roof in the other post.
 
Just seen the other post and what I had in mind my not be possible.

I like the white cross, and the blood coloured dribbles
In the right context and with a bit of imagination you could apply some interesting iconography
