X100 S at F2.0

Well that's the thing. The camera and lens seem to work very well in your hands, and you are happy. The peepers needs to spend more time making photographs.

Stanley looks in great shape for his age.

Do folks think its bad at f2 do they ... silly folks!

Well, you know how it goes. There are the forums with very special brick walls and strange studio scenes, which are used to compare the latest fetish. The X100/s is apparently soft in comparison, according to some.

It may well be. I don't have one, but base on the inspiring stuff I'm seeing this softness appears to work in the hands of photographers.

looks as horrible as the regulars on dpreview claim it does... ;) maybe they should take up a new hobby, whining isn't getting them anywhere.

Yes, clearly "unusable" as I've read several times on DPR............... :D The photo isn't good but the aperture is not "unusable." Apologies for the double negative.

I don't get it, I just don't get it at all. If you have to zoom into individual pixels to tell if a lens is soft because you haven't got a gnats arse hope in hell to see it at normal viewing distances can't you find something else to do? I think Beth hit the nail on the head, whining, some people just like to whine, it's their hobby!

I agree Paul. At the same time, lets grant them some credit. It's an art form, and they have clearly put in their 10,000 hours or whatever it is to become masters.
