X100s + WCL F2.0

Still unusable. I had to cut our walk short this AM by a couple of hours because I had a something come up my parents needed help with. The joys of the cell phone age.........

Sorry to post so many of these. Actually these are all I got to take besides one of Ruby in the water where the lighting was kindy of wonky. I just was curious because of the whole F2.0 unusable thing I read on DPR and in fairness a couple of other places. For someone like myself who possesses a limited amount of photographic skills, it appears to be fine/acceptable/works. I suppose my standards are not that high. I am being serious. So I suppose in the end it just comes down to what is acceptable for each individual.

I think f2 is a little softer than f2.8 - that was the case with the X100 - but that's not always a negative thing. I think it suits your subject matter perfectly.

Steve, although up until now your subject matter (published on this forum) has been a bit narrow I wouldn't say your photography skills are limited. Your images do seem to have very nice composition, both in terms of colour and structure, something I often struggle with myself. I think there is "a bit soft wide open" and "totally unusable" and these are not the same thing in reality but in some peoples books they unfortunately are.
