Dan Cattermole
Dan Down - The Steampunk Womble
As Invincible and arrogant as I may feel occasionally when it comes to exploring new terrain I must say, I do tend to succeed majority of the time.... But not this time
I decided to ignore this notice like I always do wherever I go, and failed miserably getting to a desired location (strictly) on this occasion only.
I researched extensively on a map and google earth where this particular waterfall is at Cancleave Strand (about 10 mile from Bude) and set off at 5 a.m this morning (got to the whereabouts at 5:10a.m(phew.... What a drive! Lol))
My walk down this path was in question was the most challenging I've yet come across.... At many times I doubted myself whether I was going to get myself back up again. :/
Not only that, my inadequate footwear (pumps) were SOAKING through from morning dew and battling my way through this so called 'path'! Not a happy wet bunny.
I got to the bottom..... And for sure, that stupid sign 200meters up was only ****ing right wasn't it!!!
I was that ****** I didn't even take a picture of my point of halt (30meter decent)
So, I went to another location in Millook and got some very rewarding shots which I shall show all when I get back off holiday!
I thought id share my recent event with you folks.......
Thanks for looking
