I thought you were up north somewhere . Never mind. I'm hoping to be in the UK for at least 2 months and might get a chance to visit your area sometime.yet so far
Now I've got my few remaining grey cells around it, I think it's a really good title.Yep... I did wonder if the 'significant' title was stretching the point a bit.
I am, in southwest Scotland. The 6 or 7 hrs would be by road. The journey time could be shortened with flying the bulk of it, but I would imagine flying's the last thing on your mind at the mo lol.I thought you were up north somewhere . Never mind. Errrr. Yeah. I like flying, but almost 24 hours of it in one go is rather too much of a good thing.would imagine flying's the last thing on your mind at the mo
Thanks very much. . I'll certainly let you know if I'm going to be anywhere nearby, but I don't have any fixed plans as yet....you'd be most welcome
Thanks Gianluca, much appreciated. I wondered if my flight would take me over your part of the world - if it did I was going to post a blurry photo out the plane window and title it "Gianluca's roof" but sadly the flight path passed well north of Italy. It gives a certain chill down the spine to see primroses photographed by an Australian in spring/autumn. The earth is round!
Beautiful travel documentation, Steve.
Needless to say, my favorite photo is that of the "Primroses photographed by an Australian."

Thanks Beth! That one is a favorite of mine too. It looks almost like there's a tilt shift effect going on, but it's actually real blur caused by the hot exhaust from the engine...cool episode. can't wait to see what happens after the commercial break. i like the 6th photo of the land and water the best, though the whole series is a great documentary of the trip.
In particular number 5
Thanks Brian Lovely lighting isn't it? I like the fact that it preserves some of the subjects anonymity too. What a cracking portrait!
