I have been thinking about this picture for at least 24 hours and still cannot express a thought. The time of the shot and the place of the shot are very well chosen. The photographic development is excellent (without excess), yet there is something that leaves me hungry, and I don't know what it is.

True! Ones inclined to forget sometimes in the day to day bustle but a morning like this puts it in sharp relief.

Thanks and I know what you mean, or at least I recognise something similar. I think there's something about landscapes that look familiar yet don't actually have a human presence that's slightly disconcerting...

Finally, credit to my dad who came in and said 'looks lovely down the river this morning! You should take some photos..." So I did and was glad I did, even though a minute after taking this photo I slipped in the river and soaked my feet.
