It really is a mail box - they have these old R2D2 looking things bolted to the sidewalk. I just liked the comp and lighting - something ordinary in plain sight that made for an interesting pic

He was a marine Brian - well spotted - lots of them about for the parade - O'side is still a military town, but it's slowly being commercialized and turned into a trendy tourist destination. Not seen the Peter Jackson film yet - on my to do list
