I updated the firmware on my 7D from 1.2.5 to the latest 2.0.3, and now my burst rate for continuos shooting high speed has dropped from 8 frame buffer to 3. According to the update i should be getting at least 15 frames in RAW. Anybody now anything about this? I've tried installing 2.0.0 and...

I discovered that turning off the Long Exposure Noise Reduction reduced the write time for a 10sec exp from 10sec down to 2sec. Just need another big storm to try again.

Frustrating to say the least, shooting in RAW with a 10sec exposure and 10sec to write to card. Lightning stirkes always seemed to hit while writing to card, meanwhile the guys next to me are getting great shots.:(

I've had issue using IS on a tripod. As far as mirror lock up goes, i just use live view. Live view locks the mirror up anyway.

Looks like it has some great cinematography and star cast, only problem for me is i can't stand musicals!
