It seems to have been a very pleasant walk. The mushrooms are quite interesting, the fall colors punctuate the season, the squirrel brought a smile to my face and the hornets nest made me twitch, (I quickly scrolled back to the squirrel). Thanks for sharing your walk.
Do to conflicts with other Thanksgivings and travel plans, Mary Lou and I decided to celebrate our Thanksgiving on Saturday. Gotta tell you, Saturday was a great choice with a couple extra days for prep and rest.

On my monitor, this image to too dark and lacks contrast. While I like the black shadows/framing (left and right), the balconies in the sunlight and the white-ish building in the background lack contrast.

Au contraire ... firstly very nice framing and exposure as she is somewhat backlighted. To some your image may be in a bucket of a 'Quick Look' and then carry on with the rest of one's day. But for those of us who garnered a second and longer take ... the rope becomes very apparent and the woman...
Wonderful framing... the sweeping leading lines of moat and statues escort the eyes directly to the church ... again, simply wonderful. Additionally, the dark gray clouds are like broad strokes of gray paint obliterating any potential background distractions. Nicely done!
If one persists...
