I can't remember what I was using for prints in the early 1970's. I do remember having a polished surface dryer that I needed to use if I wanted glossy prints. I'm pretty sure I never used anything other than the least expensive print paper offered by Kodak.
Well, I can say that whomever designed that Agfa Iso-Rapid 1F you featured in 35mmc must have spent years in the Royal College of Art School of Design. It is so sleek... :)
My wife swears by the NWS but I prefer the weather from my iPhone. Considering the number of computer weather models out there and the ability to track weather systems you'd think they'd get things right more often than wrong.
