Tri-X from the G1

I finished the 24-exposure roll today. The G1 auto-loads, auto-advances and auto-rewinds and I got 25 exposures. It is also an auto-focus camera with many negative opinions of its AF capabilities. I'm pretty happy Here are a few low-res examples as well as a link to the full-size folder of all the shots on Google drive.

Noticed you had bought this in your reply to Shaun. Probably represents one of the best, final products of its type of the film era. Your results show promise too with good sharpness and coverage.

Well done, Gary, for getting such a success rate out of a test drive. All different shots too. I would have been tempted to double up on a few for comparison, but that's just me. I particularly like #05.
Not quite what I would have expected from Tri-X though, perhaps a bit of post fiddling would bump up the contrast a bit.

Thanks Peter!

I agree that the results don't scream: Tri-X.

I was more worried about focus from an AF film shooter. I did adjust the EC a couple of times and forgot to set it back to 0 once, so some shots were unintentionally under-exposed.

I'm planning to start over with the raw shots of the negatives later today and do a better job processing them all the same with a better black anchor.

That's the one.
They do wine, beer and whisky on-site at McMenamin's Edgefield. I don't know what they use that area for.

They host various size musical events from solo performers to well-known professional acts (in the summer, on the lawn, big outdoor stage). My wife and I enjoy going over there during the evenings when they have "free" music outside. Free is relative when you are charging $8 for a beer and $10 for a pour of wine.
