I certainly prefer the high contrast presentation and number 5 is my ‘favourite’ of the set as well. A success all round it seems.

The landscape on UltraMax is really very nice indeed I think. The simplicity works well and the distant homestead adds scale.

Thanks Pete! I couldn't remember if I had posted the film version. I had intended to do a 3-lens comparison but I lost the film on the Leice due to a problem rewinding the film. I still haven't figured out what happened.

While taken the same day as the one here, it was taken on a different camera. The one above is Kodak Ultramax film from the G1.

Both the two versions are interesting, but I like this more. Not sure why, maybe the colours, and the less digital texture, maybe the 4:3 crop, the less prominent clouds, I can't say. Just a personal taste I suppose.

I think I do too. I didn't have the scans of the film when I posted the digital version (which I did crop to appear more pano).
The film shot has grain (the UltraMax is 400 ISO) and I didn't crop the film shot.
