Spotted this beauty yesterday morning at the weekly old car gathering at Adams Avenue Donuts.

I was talking with a chap about his 1938 Buick Special and as some cars cleared out there I saw in the distance this lovely machine. I thought it must have Italian coachwork, specifically I was thinking Pininfarina. But no! Coachwork by Bristol. Lovely.

Chrysler V8 power. (Original equipment in this model/year.) The owner bought it as a basket case. He's the 3rd owner. 1st owner was Phil Spector he said.

Took these shots with the Sigma DP1 MacKillop

Lovely images Brian , you are getting great colours from the camera. Smashing car, but what I like is the idea there are people who dedicate so much time to restoring such things. Phil Spector? I've no idea, must be a generational thing ;)
