it's the second one for me, when you see it big the rocks at the front almost give it a 3D look, they are so sharp

I'd go with the second also. The water is just so much more dynamic.

I prefer the second, the foreground water is as Pete says more dynamic and the over compo is much nicer too. The tree on the left is is a better position and the highlights seem to make the scene come alive a little more.

i like the composition and movement of the second image as well, but prefer the cooler color of the first. the second looks much to yellow to me.

I can see the appeal of 2, but I love the smoothness in the water on 1.
