An interesting re-visit. I do like the tonality of these, especially in the shot of the houseplant.

Its that CCD look again. There is certainly something in the claim. The houseplant in particular has lovely tonality.

I should shoot the same scene with my other CCD equipped camera - an Olympus E500, then shoot it with a CMOS camera (I have several.) Would be an interesting comparison. You see a ton of chatter about CCD vs CMOS - but very few comparisons of the same scene.

I took this for an article in 35mmc. The CCD is on the left, CMOS on the right. From what I read, CCD favours highlights, so more detail in the wine glass. CMOS favours shadows so slightly more detail in the wood in the cheese's shadow and the table top but a little burn out in the wine glass.
