Brilliant Tom,
Is the the rifle you showed me briefly when I come round to yours.
The pp on them are spot on. Fair play for your mate for putting the kit on.
The DOF on the second to last is immense! Well done.

wow nice set of shots, loving that uniform, DOF rocks, great idea of photographing your gear. The PP really works well here to.

Great Work

Some crackers there - love the close crop narrow DOF shots especially

I trust those Luck Strikes are the candy kind! :D

I've been back to these a few times now Tom and the one that grabs me every time is the last shot. I really like all of them but that little detail is superb. It's the sort of shot that, if it were taken under real wartime conditions, would stand out as capturing something of the intimate, every day of a combat soldiers life; like a quiet moment looking at a crumpled photo of a loved one, reading a letter from home or writing in a journal. How about some more like that?

Wow thanks for the comments all !!! To be honest the ones of just the gear are my favourites. All pp'd in lightroom with a BoB preset I had made. Pete I love that idea! in regard to the quiet personal moments of a soldier. I'm raking my brains and thinking of some really nice ideas for this! Cheers!

Think my fav out of them all is the one with yer mate sitting up against the sheds closely followed by the focusing on the gun sight
