Do you feel that the camera performance is better?

I'm OK with the old SE that we have. I don't use it often for "real" photographs.

I've been buying them used and plugging in our SIM cards. The SE is the "original" size and most of the new ones seem huge.
Gary-

I, like you, use the camera just for snaps. As the saying goes, the best camera is the one in your hands, and the Apple camera is always with me. I have yet to make a print from any Apple 'snaps'. I used to carry a Fuji X100 as my 'snap' camera. But I gave it away and never replaced it. Consequently, the Apple camera is my 'snap' camera.

To answer your question ... mmmh ... yeah ... If, for no other reason than the Apple 16 has a wide angle, normal, and two telephoto lengths. Dunno about image quality comparison in low light, action, et al. I use the Apple camera everyday for work related images and those image are quite good. I always select a focus point prior to snapping a snap. I have not downloaded an app which would provide manual controls.

The wide angle does distort quite a bit when one starts tilting.IMG_0417-a.jpg
