I'm still using ISO 50 for those long exposure shots on my 5DII. I've experimented with 160, 200, and others, but I just find that any other ISO gives me noise and also seems to lack the same level of richness and depth. I dunno. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong :confused:
 
... you do seem to be getting a very smooth, noise free response!
I really like the stillness and motion together in the second shot!
 
Thanks! Both shots were 30 seconds, simply because that's as long as I think the 5DII will go without resorting to Bulb mode, and I never seem to have my remote shutter release with me when I'm out and about.
 
I like that second one very much - the palm tree against the glow in the sky is really nice.

Will have to give ISO50 a shot myself - only switched it on for the first time today!
