Beautiful tones there, Brian. Really beautiful. Great motion too. I remember you really getting into dance photography back then. Less of it these days?

Thanks a lot, Rob. Yes, less of it these days. I did shoot an event at the high school a few weeks ago. (I was asked on late notice.) I used to shoot a lot of dance pics when my wife and I were involved in the local ballet company's annual Nutcracker. We did that for about four years but stopped when both our girls were no longer involved. It was a blast, though, and I used to take a lot of pictures backstage and during rehearsals. Some of them turned out OK. I got the idea of shooting backstage in available light when I saw an image made by Brassai backstage at the Follies Bergere. It inspired me and so I started shooting (mostly) black and white film, mostly with rangefinders such as my Yashica Electro 35 GT and also my Olympus XA and XA3. Actually the first time I shot backstage I used my Canon T50, but it was noisy so I could only shoot when the music was loud. That's why I went to the rangefinders. Anyway, thanks for mentioning it Rob.
