As people seem interested about aircraft spotting, I'll show some of my newer shots.

do you have more off landing/taking off shots? All the water kicking up is impressive!
what about front on shots with heat haze ... That's what I'd try for I think ... Taking off toward me with heat graze from the runway!

Don't have too many take off shots, since the double fence blocks the runway at Heathrow. I have a lot of landing shots but they aren't as interesting.

So how do you go about finding access to shoot - must be tricky with fencing, security etc etc?

A bit, yes. The fence at Heathrow is generally hard to take photos through so I usually end up taking landing shots instead. They are of course much less interesting though, since you usually have a blank background.
