I really admire you for doing your own C41 processing, it's something I've never been able to pluck up the courage to attempt.

Find the courage - after you develop a couple rolls you will be "Oh, this was actually easy!" You can use a kit like the Cinestill C41 kit - it is only two chemicals.

I agree with Paul. Give it a shot. I'll admit that over the last year I've thrown a lot of money against the whole "shoot film" exercise. For C41 I did use the Cinestill 2-part kit but I also added a Sous Vide to maintain my water bath and FilmLab to do my reversal.
