A mini adventure?

This thing has been sat in the little bit of car parking down by the river for a while ... I've seen it egged at least once ... I think it's been dumped ...
I am also pretty certain it had been moved to be close to the river ... Not quite close enough by the looks of it

Pity about that wee motor.

Nice shot, Hamish. This one is less "crisp" than your "under the bridge" shot. Different post-processing?

I'm a little confused about the under the bridge one ... I did do a little bit of process on it but I thought I hadn't saved it.
This has had no process, it's straight from the scan the shop did. If the under the bridge shot has anything it might be a tiny smidge of "clarity" ... But nothing else I don't think.

It may have come from a different roll... I've lost track... One roll thy scanned at a lower res, this might have come from that roll ...?

That's interesting. I thought it was "sharpening" maybe. (I prefer the softer look rather than the hyper-sharp. Perhaps this is why film appeals to me more generally than digital.)

Clarity has an effect o making something look more sharp.
there is a time and a place for a very sharp photo and this is not always that time or place. The CZ lens on the yashy is very sharp though. You should see the in compressed scans... Quite something they are!
Just finished another roll xp2 ... I've not had the compulsion to take photos like I have had with this camera for ages ... it's seen 5 rolls in two weeks now :)

The T5 seems to have a very nice lens. This photo for some reason reminds me of Sail Away by David Gray.

ps i also think clarity and sharpness are different (eg. sigma digicams have a clarity but their lenses cant be said to be the sharpest).

... yeah, agreed, I dont mean the only effect of clarity is sharpness, but that is an effect of it ...

Sail away? David Grey?? madness ;)

it is a nice lens for sure ... the xp2 seems to work very well with it though I think

Awww, it looks all lost and lonely Hamish :(

My bet is it'll end up taking a swim if it sits there any longer - good job you got it on film whilst still on land!

Mind you - Mini takes a swim will be a great shot as well ;)

The built-in vignette you get with this camera is really appealing - helps draw you in to the subject

You toyed with the idea of using a Yellow filter at all?

I hadn't ... I shall get my bluetack out and see if I can't find a way to mount one! I found a whole box of nice Nikon filters the other day and I'm pretty certain there is a yellow one!
The vignette is ideal I think ... Just the right sort of amount to frame things nicely!

thankfully for the mini, the water only got up to its tiers ... I reckon someone was hoping otherwise to be honest though!
