I gave been sampling some early Kodak Browniees for a 35mmc article which led me to this Vivitar EZ Motor Big View, which struck me as being the modern equivalent and a last gasp pitch at the popular market. It was made in Chine, with licensed Vivitar branding in the later 2990s.
I was impressed with my results. Focus limitations apart and using ISO 400 film (as recommended) the exposure and lens performance are well up there for such a basic camera. It runs on just a couple of AAs too.
