Another area of the factory where new growth has emerged. This is the upper floor of the main production building of the old textile works.

Mother Nature beginning the slow but sure process of reclaiming and healing (if she’s allowed to get on with it). A superb set of urbex images, Pete. l do find myself fascinated with images of old abandoned and decaying buildings, imagining how things might have been and now seeing the ‘faded grandeur’.

Thanks. Yes it was a nice opportunity and we both both amazed that we managed to spend 6 hours in the complexes. The nice thing is that we were just left on our own and there were only 10 people on site that day and so you rarely saw a soul. They do others and I am quite intrigued by a large closed cinema in Berlin. We'll see.

It was, but the 4 floors below were rather plain. It was a nice suppose to see that roof when we got up there (and the rolls of old textile, etc).
