Can I ask you Gary, if you are doing anything else to the colour, other than swapping red and blue? I have a 580nm filter that I use on my little full spectrum Sony NEX. The results I get are ...shall we say....somewhat vivid.

Hi Chris, thanks for asking. I think for that image I just did the R/B swap at 1:1. Often I'll fiddle with the % of each, sometimes I'll also tweak the saturation. I have a converted camera, so I see what I'm going to get in the evf. Sometimes I wish I had a full spectrum to use with filters.

This is what it looked like prior to the channel swap and crop. I may have edited either the exposure or brightness.

Great, thanks for your reply. I am away from home for a few days, so unable to see your images properly on a big screen. But I am sure I will learn something useful when I return.
