Let me start by saying I'm not a truck spotter...
However, yesterday I was on the Bristol Harbourside waiting for a Chinese Lion Dance performance, when this wonderful 1950's 'Bristol' flat bed truck drove down the quayside with the dancers onboard.
This is an original Bristol Commercial Vehicles vehicle of the kind that would have been commonplace along the harbourside in its day...
This truck is in the livery of the British Road Services, the company formed when they nationalised the road haulage industry in 1947...
