Critique Welcomed A Roll I Shot At Donut Derelicts

I shot this roll last year,...I think in October,...with a Golga 120N that has light leaks. Donut Derelicts is a local car meet up every Saturday morning at a nearby donut shop. This group has been gathering each week for a couple of decades. The meet-up is brief; arrive by 8 am and some of the cars are already leaving. By 9 there will only be one or two left.

Fuji Acros 100 processed in Rodinal.

A cracking set Brian, and good to see some more output from the Golga! ;) I think you've shown some pictures from these events before (or was that Chris). I like the illusion of having been shot from behind glass in the ones with the light leaks - especially as you can't work out how that could've been done. The vignetting adds so much too. A cracking set indeed. :)

I'll take the Corvette in the first shot. I love Vettes. Had two of them, a '70 and a '76. I almost bought a '58 back in '68, but found out my wife was pregnant the day before I planned on finalizing the deal. I've often lamented the timing. It was a beautiful car. Now you've gone and done it. I'm all nostalgic and morose.

Love the set Brian and for some strange reason the light leaks add to it. Is the camera a Holga or a Golga the Later I have not heard of before?

Cheeky bugger! I meant "Helga" of course! Thanks a lot, Pete. I don;t think I ever saw any shots from Chris at Donut Derelicts. Its a bit out his way (by about a 70 or 80 miles give or take). Although Chris did post some car images. Stoaters at that, as I recall.

That Corvette is probably there most weekends John. Come on over and make the guy an offer.

Love the set Brian , excellent.
Thanks Julian. Much appreciated.

Thanks Martin. Don't listen to the voices from the Peanut Gallery (Askew: :p). I shot the images with a Holga 120N. Its a plastic body, plastic lens cheapo medium format toy camera out of China. (Norwergians can't pronounce "Holga" so I call it "Helga for @Ivar D. Larsen 's sake. (Ivar: :p). Come to think of it, the English can't pronounce Holga either so I called it Golga for Pete's sake. (@Pete Askew: :p).

(Oh wait,...you're English, right?) I take it back Martin. Only Pete can't pronounce Holga. Other English people can I am sure.

Beautiful shots, Brian, and perfectly in keeping with the period of many of the cars. I like also seeing the people looking at them in admiration. Great to see you uploading more images.
