I'm a member of a local 'Meetup' Group for people into photography in Bristol.
If you haven't heard of 'Meetup' it's a scheme that allows people to create local groups where people can get together to share hobbies, interests and generally socialise by organising events, outings or just evenings in the pub. About Meetup - Meetup
You might find there are groups local to you and its not just photography...

The Bristol Photography Meetup Group organised a walk yesterday down one of the well known streets in Bristol, Whiteladies Road.
Although it was somewhere everyone in Bristol knows and has walked down many times, walking down there with a camera in hand with a bunch of other people was interesting for some of the things you normally miss.

And, yes, I did mention the RPF and will put a link to the forum on there as well...

That's jigsaw is insanely brilliant,
Compo - spot on!
PP - spot on!
Love it dude!!

3 nice foties, Adrian. I am guessing the jigsaw is some kind of street art/sculpture? I love the colors on both the street lamp and the church.

nice set of images i particularly like the last one, the detail on that church is just stunning, looks like you had great light to

The jigsaw was some shuttering to cover a window unto an underground car park. Most people probably wouldn't see it as it's just down a side street.

The church was taken at the end of the afternoon just as we were beginning to lose the best of the light, and I warmed it up using Topaz. It may not be realistic but it does make a great picture.
