Tom came around today to help mount my D3 to the wall in preparation for making the stop motion video of me having a wall knocked down and the floor replaced in my living room... the solution was easier than we had thought it might be ;)

So yeah, keep your eyes peeled for the video in a couple of weeks! :)

Tom - I've got a few jobs that need doing at the house - what's your call out rate to CA? :D

Nice video chaps, and nice bracket - looking forward to seeing the final result as well.

How are you going to keep all the dust and sh!t out of your camera Hamish? - just a thought! ;)

By owning a d3 and Nikon lenses ...
Dust and water sealed init ;)

But yeah, a plastic bag and elastic band might come in to the equation ... Just for luck like ;)

Good idea - plaster dust is a nightmare - even with a sealed camera/lens I'd be taking precautions!

Looks good Hamish,

I would cover the camera with a large grip seal plastic bag with a corner cut off for the lens to poke through, use an elastic band to make the bag grip around the lens. Open the grip seal part of the bag to operate the camera etc.

Have fun :)
