A (small) selection of my favourite shots from 2011 at the Prescott hill climb below, feels like it's been a long year compared with previous seasons and I'm not as happy with the shots I've taken this year as I have been in the past. Possible stagnating, I don't know....

Anyway, photos... apologies for the watermarks, I'm sure you'll appreciate the need.

A superb series Richard and I like the consistency of the PP / B&W. I think what strikes me most about your images is that you have a very distinctive style that comes across and I suspect that is rare in motorsport. And, it's a style I like very much. I especially like your panning shots where there is much more 'environmental' detail present than is often the case. A great combination of high technical skill and artistry. A good example is in that second-to-last shot I think.
 
I dont even know where to start!
The consistency of style is what i like as i said (and pete said) before... They are really quite superb! I personally cant see how you would not be over the moon with them, but i guess if you feel you have been doing the same thing for a while then you might feel like that... But really i should be very confident!
You dont see much motorsport photography of this quality imo...
My favorites are basically all the ones that contain a lot of motion!
Ironicallly, going back to when i have had a go at mortorsport stuff i would have binned my blurry ones not seeing the potential in them ... if only i had realised that this sort of thing could be done with them ...
That said, i would have never got any quite as good!
The one through the trees displays a level of understanding of what you were trying to achieve that could not be fluked I think!
The only ones that do less for me are the ones with the people in, that perhaps look a little flat ... but i think it is possibly more due to them being next to a lot of shots that i really like, that makes them look less good ...
Very impressive overall! Please dont stop doing this ... If anything, maybe look to concentrate on honing the people shots if you are feel stagnant as the motion ones of the cars in my opinion are spot on!
 
Don't get me wrong, I know they're not bad pictures, it's just I've had specific shots in mind that I know I've wanted to get and I've played it safe standing in the same spots over and over again with a higher shutter speed.

I've just not been as creative as I was last year, but thinking about it I might not have had the same opportunities.

Anyway, much obliged for the feedback guys, nice to know I still have an (ever growing) appreciative audience!

@Thomas, it's one of 5 special edition "Pur Sang" veyrons, carbon fibre and highly polished aluminium. There's so many special edition veyrons now that I seriously believe a bog standard one is rarer!

Out of all the supercars I've seen, I have by far seen more Veyrons than any other single model. I have yet to see a Koeneggsegg or Zonda.
 
number 12 stands out for me as something akin to genius ... it's the one with (what looks like) the red ferrari. It reminds me a lot of the vintage tour de france posters

Dig out that shout with the swirly dust going over the bonnet of the red evo(?) thats right up there with these in my books ... i love the photo! I'd bet Richard would appreciate it being in the trade and what not!
 
must agree with all the comments above but mine has to be the midget locking up.........now that for me shows the levels of control of both driver and photographer,,great stuff..gets a hhf from me
 
Superb series - the artistry in the interpretation of speed is what really makes them IMHO
 
Yes I can imagine having that much power, on a narrow track with a car set up to go left would be "focusing" to say that least!

Yea was pretty chuffed with this one! The loon behind the wheel has to take alot of credit for it though, the corner was about 20 yards to the right lol.

I'm not sure you can credit a car driver with you photography skills ;)
