Critique Welcomed Abandoned Swimming Pool

Went exploring with Darren B this afternoon around Oceanside and Carlsbad CA.

We came across this cool abandoned apartment complex from the 50s - with this rather toxic looking pool...

As we stopped to get the shot - the local Sheriffs Department were busy blowing the doors off of the next block - surreal...

Dan - we both said you'd be in your element in this place.

It was all locked up - apart from the doors which the plod were busy blowing off!

I think I'll go back though, and have another shufty - assuming there's no one with high explosives on the premises!

Ta muchly Rob - We discussed the post processing as we stood there eyeing up the scene - and both agreed that cross processed or some form of bleach bypass would work.

Bleach lost too much of the green when I tried it - so cross processing was the order of the day, with a little lightened vignetting to deteriorate the edges of the frame
