Abstract Brickwork

This is a brick, arched ceiling in Park Babelsberg. It was originally part of Berlin City Hall and originated from about 1200 and then was relocated to Balbelsberg in the 17th Century. Not quite got to what I envisioned when I took it but I like the colours and textures nonetheless.

Leica M9 + 35 mm 1:1.4 ASPH Summilux-M, ISO 160, 1/90s at f 1/5.6 (goodness knows why it says 1/5.7 in the EXIF!). Slight crop and urban PP in LR (border done with gradients as an experiment).

Nice texture and the black pointing is interesting. I'm trying to work out if I would have realised what it was if I wasn't told before I saw it.

I had the same feelings myself. What would you have thought if I told you it was a distorted view of paving? I quite liked the abstraction.
