Sorry Dan, didn't want to cause you any undue trouble! And I'm also sorry as I think my estimate was way too high and I'm worried that you might end up buying too many ferrets. If my guess is about right, it looks like the structure you built is about 1m x 1m x 1m. Given that a 'standard adult ferret' (BS SAF) probably occupies about 2.5 litres (I'm sure they seem as if they occupy far more in practice, don't they Lesley!), then I think an estimate of 400 ferrets would be more accurate. I'm sure you could squeeze a few more in but certainly not 10X more (although it might be wise to get a few spares as they are tricky characters as I recall from my youth and there will be more than the odd escape!!). Oh, and don't be tempted to try to carry them home in the basket of you bike - it'll only end in tears!!
