Agelena labyrinthica

Very menacing in the context of its nest(?)
the fly wing ddefinitely adds to that!
There maybe some merit in doing some sort of selective adjustments to bring the spider out a bit in that shot?

I wouldn't call it a nest as such, they tend to build a funnel shaped sheet web, with a tubular 'retreat' (sometimes having several compartments, hence 'labyrinth' name)
I know what you mean about bringing the spider out a bit. My photoshop skills are somewhat limited, but I am learning. just managed to use a dodge & burn technique yesterday. I shall have a further play :)
