Agua Hedionda Lagoon

Encina Power Station sits on the southern shore of the outer segment of the Agua Hedionda Lagoon, Carlsbad CA.

Although it's as ugly as hell, the warm outflow from the plant has brought an amazing diversity of life to the once stagnant lagoon, and it's now home to Blue Herons, Ibis', Pelicans, and a multitude of aquatic life.

I like a bit of industrial landscape Chris: this is nice. I like the slightly soft tones in the mid ground and the subtle swirl in the water especially.
