This is a retired Air Force One - at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, in Simi Valley, CA.

G617 and Velvia 50 - 2 sec exposure

No idea how they landed it in this small building - amazing!

Security were somewhat interested in my camera bag, but were completely ok with the G617 and tripod - cool!

The only comment was 'I see you've come loaded for bear'

Blimey. Our library used to have a stuffed squirrel in a case if I remember correctly.

Nice shot Chris...I do hope you realize that plane hasn't landed yet...right? Getting it to hover is the real trick.
Edit...looking on a proper screen...I guess it could be called a landing.

excellent chris.

our library has stopped housing books and started housing homeless a few years ago. they got rid of the books when the librarian realized they were being used in the burn barrels.

the pilots weren't that good, they missed the runway completely and ended up on pylons.
