All Different...

A selection from a series of shots looking at trees, in fact the same species of tree identifying that despite coming from the same group and planted at the same time in the same area, they are very different..

I have chosen to shoot the same aspect, deliberately at the same height in similar lighting conditions...

Thank you Rob that's a really nice thing to say.:o

I have to say that I am really enjoying my photography at the moment, much in part to RPF and the friends here but also to the freedom I feel to be able to shoot the things I like..:)

OMFG!! This is amazing Kev! Really admiring this set and how sharp they are, let alone the idea to capture them the way you have.
The dogs dinner!!

Thanks All, these were shot with D200 ISO 100 50mm Prime at f1.8..Aperture Priority.........PP's PS3..

Now this is what B&W excels at - TEXTURE!

Really stunning set Kev - would look great as a print grouping on a wall I reckon

How was the lighting - it looks to be at least somewhat diffused?

Thanks again All, Chris the lighting was natural, it was early evening, the day had been really warm but the sky hazy so was acting like that lovely big soft box we all love, casting just the right amount of light to create some shadows but not too harsh..:)
