Thanks Rob. Interesting. How varied are the effects within themselves. Can you vary them in the same way you can with Nik borders or do they always come out with the scratches etc in the same places?

I'll get back to you on this, Pete, just about to start teaching.

Sadly the default scratches are always the same. However, you can vary the 'intensity' (their word) and that seems to change things. You can also vary the light, also crop to different formats.

Here's the default Daguerreotype:

It's fun, but could do with more user control, and more variety.

Thanks Rob. With the exception of Nik, that seems to be the problem any form of texture or overlay. I keep meaning to make a bigger set of scratched negatives from some blank film.
