Unusual choice having the dark hills framing the bottom of the image, makes the composition unbalanced. I like it, it seems to work really well.

it was so bright in the valley that all it needed to create the silhouette was to keep the end from whiting out and a touch of darkening on the right hand side

A differant stance on a silhouette which I likes hitch also frames the hill inte distant.
