A local favorite since '78 - Angelo's serves some of the best Californian breakfast food you can get. (As well as Burgers, Burritos, Fried Zucchini, Tacos and Hot Dogs)

Found only in Oceanside and Encinitas CA - worth a drive-thru if you're ever cruising on 101.

Thanks chaps - these places are ingrained in CA culture - home of the breakfast burrito, which is well worth trying Rob!

They won't have porridge, Rob, I can assure you of that. But they may have menudo, which the Mexican chaps swear by for hangover relief. (Don't actually know if they sell Menudo at Angelo's, but someplace nearby surely will if you need it when you come over to visit your aunty.)

I see they sell "Torpedo" at Angelo's. That is a good brew.

Wonderful Chris. Not only is it the type of image I like but the composition is super. A bit like the multi-frame scenes in movies of the early seventies (and before, eg The Thomas Crown Affair etc) with the mural, windows and wall, all with different tones and colours. And then there's the scene inside, only partly visible. Lovely stuff.
