The castle was lit nicely by the lowish autumn sun this morning and there was still a trace of mist in the hills beyond.

Wow wow wow that is a spectacular image and location. I did a trip once around from Normandy to southern France.On the tour I came close to going off into
northern Italy. That is one of two things I regret, being so close and not going there, I drove up to Gap and skirted Grenoble instead and was slightly disappoint with the French Alps.
That light in the image is superb.

Thanks Brian. The light on the water is rather special here. Annoyingly I took the RF polariser out of my bag the other week. Based on the view through my sunglasses, that would have been worth employing for some shots.
