I saw this on your site and was immediately struck by the doom expression! I can only surmise that he knows exactly where that exit sign is.

I don't see that expression here, Pete. (Perhaps because I was there and saw the entire scene develop in context...?) It shows how a picture can be worth a thousand words, and misrepresent. Thanks for the comments Pete.

It's amazing how one's seemingly sad experiences related to these situations come to expression at times Brian. I interpret it quite differently as the groom can't wait to get this done and get back to the bride! That's how I remember it Good shot though, against the light for an old man with some old film. Don't tell me that you did not shoot with another digital camera too
