The images seen here were taken for an upcoming review. They are not commercial images, so I didn't bother showing all the lights or cleaning the faces perfectly. I merely wanted to shoot them from a generally horizonless angle with decent light. You will notice that the back images aren't that sharp and that colour isn't reined in properly. Again, these are just for a review, but I am looking for some feedback from both audiophiles and from still-life fiends.

The camera used was a Sony a7r. The lens a first gen Nikon PC 85/2,8 ED Micro.

Now that is gorgeous - what I like is that it almost looks like it's extruded out of the shadows

I wish I had your patience and attention to detail

I like the angle - both top down and angled in frame - also leaves space for text/logos bottom left, so very typography friendly

Thanks Chris. It helps that it is a beautiful piece of equipment.

Ah, OK. In Scots and northern England, nathan = nothing. And wright sounds like right. So, your name could be Nothing Right, while still being pronounced Nathan Wright.

There is a literary precedence: a short story by the 19th-century Scots writer, John Galt, called The Radical. The comical right-wing politician, immovable in his beliefs, is called Nathan Butt, "nothing but!". See this short extract: LINK.

So, seeing as your photography always looks to me to be perfect, I thought you should change your name to Everything Right.

OK, it's not the funniest joke ever!
