Around Amalfi

Hello All,

Not been about on RPF for a while, hopefully you missed me? (please lie if not). I've just been trying to avoid sitting at the computer so much and have been playing the guitar a little more. Anyway I suppose that's not much of an excuse, but I'm sure that Rob will understand.

These were taken on holiday with the Fuji X Pro1 and 35mm and 27mm pancake.

Hope you enjoy.

Back with a bang - stunning pics, Paul, and yes, we did miss you! It's hard to fit guitar playing AND photography into the daily grind, but both are worth the effort. Looks like you had a superb holiday. Lovely colours, and great lenses. Very pro-looking.

That is a great set of pictures. I particularly like the first one, the way the sunlight illuminates the town, while leaving the mountainside in shadow.

Very good indeed, that you are back I mean and as always with a fresh breeze about you, compared to them old timers right here:oops:. Do you sing as well as play. You certainly have here. I guess the xpro 1 is a good companion with all its updates. Great homecoming:rolleyes: back to the forum. Miss you- well wondered very much what happened.:D

Cheers guys. Good to see that I have been remembered (mostly) - I'm sure it will come to Pete eventually, he just needs a bit more time.

The last one is of the village of Furore where we rented a villa. The village pretty much hangs of the side of the cliff. We made the mistake of taking a walk one afternoon. Going down the almost vertical steps didn't seem so bad. It was climbing back up in 30 degree heat that didn't go so well....
