Well what can I say, I purchased this app on a whim completely out of bordom
Way back when before nintendo, xbox and playstation pacified the worlds children (and adults) into chubby monosalabic oafs he'll bent on terrorising a virtual city or the love life of a fat short Italian plumber.
parents where forced to entertain their brats with lumps of wood on string and painted bits of tin. along with these ancient odditys was the kaleidoscope....
A tube with mirrors and bits and bobs chucked in. look through one end... Shake it about.....look through it again..... Hours of harmless fun...
I must add at this point that I hate these things mainly due to the fact I was almost blinded by one. At school we all had to make one. Painting pieces of pata and crushing them up to put at the bottom.... Let's just say my engineering skills where not as honed as they are today and skipping steps in the construction meant that I had not botherd to place the clear cap to contain the bits and bobs at the end Resulting in shards of penne pata in my eye.......... On the plus side I was the coolest kid in school for a few weeks as I had to wear an eye patch!!!
Any way. So I downloaded this app expecting it to be aweful.... To my pleasant supruse it was awesome. It's a bang up to date kaleidoscope using your phones camera in live view to kaleide ( not up to scratch with my kaleidoscope jargon) anything you want
I have had loads of fun find something that looks cool on the live screen and take a picture!! Brilliant. So so simple but a perfect time killer and can create some truly bizarre images to
Fingers
More fingers
My tattoo
Warning you may make yourself look an idiot whilst walking around gormlessley pointing your phone at objects
Thanks for reading
