When I was a kid, and in the area where I lived, if you were a Catholic you would attend a Catholic school; if your were Protestant you attended a Protestant school. Its just the way it was in Rutherglen. I attended one of the Catholic schools in the area, but where I lived was just down the street from a protestant school.
