Autumn Gold (Fall Color)

Driving high above Taos NM (at over 7000 ft) we came upon stand after stand of Aspen & Silver Birch, growing amongst the pine.

In the late afternoon sunlight, these trees glowed gold against the deep greens and blacks of the forest - truly a site to behold.

Wonderful Chris. It also looks really nice as you scroll down and the top 1/3 gets cropped off so you are looking at the trunks disappearing into the shadows with some colour above and below. What do you think?
