Avebury

Here's another shot from my day out last week. The sky was no where near as dramatic by the time we got to Avebury but I still thought a monochrome treatment was best. There are a couple more shots that I think are worth posting and will do so when I get a chance.

Excellent shot! I keep seeing all manner of figures and faces in the stones. Hope it's not just me :) It looks as if they're waiting for something to happen. Beautiful clouds too. I don't think they need to be any more dramatic than they are or they'd compete too much with the stones.

Looking forward to seeing the other shots :)

Cheers,

Kate

No tone mapping Paul, just a conversion to a modified Tin Type (Ilford Delta, reduced vignette) in Silver FX then desaturated and a small curve adjustment in LR to increase contrast a touch in the highlights and lighter mid-tones. Texture as shot.
