Here's another shot from my day out last week. The sky was no where near as dramatic by the time we got to Avebury but I still thought a monochrome treatment was best. There are a couple more shots that I think are worth posting and will do so when I get a chance.

Leica M9 / 35 f1/1.4, 160 ISO, 1/125 at f 1/8. PP in LR / SilverFX Pro and border in PS.

Excellent shot! I keep seeing all manner of figures and faces in the stones. Hope it's not just me It looks as if they're waiting for something to happen. Beautiful clouds too. I don't think they need to be any more dramatic than they are or they'd compete too much with the stones.

Yes, there is definitely someone trapped in the stone on the right!

Nice Pete, Is that texture of the rocks enhanced by the PP. Looks a bit like its been tone mapped, I got a similar result on a statue which I quite liked.

No tone mapping Paul, just a conversion to a modified Tin Type (Ilford Delta, reduced vignette) in Silver FX then desaturated and a small curve adjustment in LR to increase contrast a touch in the highlights and lighter mid-tones. Texture as shot.
