I love daffodils. The flowers are rendered beautifully. I find the background a bit busy. It pulls my eye away from the blossoms.

I know what you mean, John. But I've done dozens of daffodil shots where I've isolated the flower head. Time get some context, how such a beautiful thing can blossom when all around is hard, dark and thorny.

Intersting and lovely tones. It is the first for me though. It has more mystery to as if they are guarding the entrance to that path, or maybe about the venture in.
